Now On The Very Dark Side

Post by mikewmac »

I finally got Prepar3D v2.4 after I installed a larger flight sim SSD and an MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G video card. :D

All I can say is AWESOME!!!

Right out of the box it is amazingly more realistic, smooth and error free compared to virgin FSX. Even TrackIR 5 is much smoother with it.

The only negative I have found so far is the hassle of determining which FS9/FSX addons will work well with it. :(

I took forever to accept FSX, so didn't really follow P3D until recently. I've got one program that should be over there soon and maybe I'll switch. Drive any subs yet?

I was a very convinced P3DV2 user. But all the latest updates were breaking more things instead of making it better. I am reinstalling FSX in order to have a working base for military AI.
Aside from this I totally agree P3DV2 is awesome.
