THE great weakness of the FS AI engine is the inbability to create and insert en route waypoints into a flight plan so regretably you are not able to programme the aircraft to enter the valley and follow it via a series of waypoints. At the end of the day it is down to the AI engine software which is beyond my limited programming skills but I would have thought that some 4 years after release some of the great minds that appear to inhabit FS cyberspace would have cracked it by now.

The best you can do is install various AFCADs with invisible in different places to serve as way points (of a sort). But, it's not ideal since routing between the AFCADs is still down to the AI system and Ai aircraft seem to be unable to pick up higher terrain and just slam into it.
To be honest, unless you do the procedure above (and it's complex and difficult) then there is no way to do this unfortunately, to my knowledge.
