RAF Mustang

"The Shark" / North American Aviation Mustang P-51D / Year of Manufacture: 1944 / The Only Mustang flying in an RAF livery / For John's ai Model

The recently painted scheme represents an RAF Mustang IVA KH774 GA-S (44-11602) flown on ground attack missions over the Balkans along the Adriatic coast by 112 Sqdn's Lt Blanchford.

Keep an eye out for her at the Air Shows! Duxford VE Day Airshow, RAF Cosford

Due to mapping issues the repaint is not 100% identical.

Very cool, spent the weekend looking over the other famous sharkmouth, a real P-40N in AVG colors at our local air show.
