So, with that in mind, I uploaded the F-15Cs, F-15D and F-15Es to Avsim this morning, including the paint kit:

The files are:
FS9:

FSX:

Oh ok, I downloaded the new model but I did not open the zip file. I did not know there was only 6 paints. I thought it was all of them.John Young wrote:You could change my aircraft name in my aircraft.cfg file to the same as the ones you want to replace, adding more entries as necessary. You would then remove the old aircraft from your Aircraft folder. That would keep the existing flight plans consistent. The problem is that you only have 6 Lakenheath specimen paints with my models. Had Ian released his Lakenheath scenery, which is what I designed the models for, I would have produced the 80 or so paints for all the aircraft based there, so that would at least give you a full set of Lakenheath paints consistent with my models.
All the other AI F-15 models out there will have different texture mapping and can’t be used with my models. You would have to use my paint kit to re-paint the textures for the units you want aircraft for.
It’s a lot of work to provide a complete alternative to the F-15s already available and I concluded the interest just wasn’t there to justify the work. My F-15s were therefore released “as is” for people to use as best they can. I’m hopeful though that our painters here will turn their hands to these models in due course. That would certainly add more value.
