USEnglishBig.gvp

Post by VulcanDriver »

Hi guys I've inadvertently deleted my my USEnglishBig.gvp file with all my callsigns in. These are mostly from MAIW packages plus other mil AI files. Could someone send me theirs please.

TIA

Cheers
John

John,
I can send you what I have got but I lost a lot of mine nearly 2 years ago and started rebuilding using Stew's EVP file. There will be a lot of gaps aas I still haven't got around to re-installing everything.

Won't be able to do anything until tomorrow evening.
Steve

Yes please Steve. All I have are the default ones so yours will be a good base to build on. Do we need the small gvp file?

What I was thinking is exactly what I got from Stew, which is the EVP xml file. Then you load and compile the new file using EVP.

What I found was that copy over Stew's GVP made no difference. I needed to build it for the VCPs to be picked up by EVP. I hope this makes sense. So I would say, install EVP and then we can rename the xml file it will install for you and you can copy my one over to your system.

I'll upload my current USEnglishBig to the ftp if that's any use.

Let me know.

Hi John,

Try this first mate.

I've made a backup of my evp and uploaded it to the FTP. It's in the personal folder file (somehow missed my own folder when uploaded).

Download that and use the EVP "restore backup" feature.

See if it that works.
