JustFlight's Coningsby scenery question
JustFlight's Coningsby scenery question
I have scenery for Coningsby installed in my FS9 but I do not know which version I have. Is there a way to install JustFlight's free Coningsby scenery into a dummy folder so I can see the names of the files (I want to see if it's the scenery I have or not)? When I try to install the JustFlight Coningsby scenery it wants me to install it into my FS9 folder but I already have a Coningsby scenery installed in my FS9.
Re: JustFlight's Coningsby scenery question
Never mind. Reading the description at JustFlight it's the same one that UKMIL made. They are just hosting it.

Have you seen the AGC (Airfield Construction Group) version of Coningsby? That's one I use and it looks OK.

I would definitely recommend the ACG version. Just make sure you install the rest of their offerings as well. [WHITE SMILING FACE]

Re: JustFlight's Coningsby scenery question
There's a little bit of confusion here. There are two ACG FS9 versions of RAF Coningsby available. The earliest is the one I made. It's a very detailed scenery with a photo-realistic ground image supplied by Just Flight. It's that version that Just Flight host, but it's also at flightsim.com and Avsim.
Ian McCartney went on to produce a more up to date and even more detailed scenery. That's the one contained in the official MAIW RAF Coningsby 2013 package. It's available via the Download Hangar. Ian has also done a version for FSX.

Re: JustFlight's Coningsby scenery question
Thanks for clearing that up John. I found the one I have installed, it's the one found at the UKMIL site.
Now I have a choice of Coningsby sceneries, the one from JustFlight/UKMIL or the MAIW one. The one from MAIW looks really good, but the one from JF/UKMIL has the full custom ground/apron textures. Choices! Choices!
PS: The ACG version is for FSX, I am a FS9 user.

Well after slewing around the MAIW version of Coningsby for a little while I think I will be sticking with that one. It looks real nice and the parking is a lot better in this version.
