Question about AH-64A and D models

Hello simmers,

I have installed my first AH-64 Apache pack of UAE Army.

The pack contains 30 textures and most of them are AH-64A and a few are AH-64D.

According to the internet all of them are converted to D model.

My question is, is it still realistic if I use the models

a_stinger
a_warload
a_drill

for the D models?

As I wrote the package considers the AH-64A from 2008 I guess.

The package doesn`t contain

d_stinger
d_warload
d_drill

In the aircraft.cfg there are some textures which require the models

a_stinger
a_warload
a_drill

The pack contains for D-models:

d_armed
d_ferry
d_hellfire
d_rockets
d_tanks

Just looking at a few pics on Google, the d_armed would be the most common set up. I have not seen many pics of the UAE versions carrying tanks like the IAF seem to do all the time. On the US models, rebuilds from A to D received new tail numbers, adding to the confusion. Like the US models, UAE did not purchased the FCR (radar) for each one.

Hi Chris

I use also the longbow_armed model for the AH-64D. According to wikipedia, UAE Army will convert all thirty Apache to the D Version.

Currently I only found pics of 050, 054, 063, 067, 074, 075 with FCR radar.
All of these mentioned have same wapon configuration I guess.
I will try to find more infos abozut the other regs.
The question is, will all get the FCR.

If I shoudn`t find more regs with FCR I will use the d-armed for the other regs.
