For some unknown reason I seem to have lost the USA in my flight sim (FS9).
I normally only ever fly around Europe so never go much further, but today I installed the MIAW Langley package, I go to view it and I couldn't.
Then I noticed I had no other airports in the USA, I copied the default scenery folders off the original disk 3 hoping that might fix it but still no USA when I select it from the selection screen.
I Googled it and it seems the only option is a re-install, I am not bothered about that but I was a bit worried I may lose all the other addon scenery and aircraft I have installed, I just wanted so advice if to go ahead please.

Update:
I installed a tandem copy of FS but this time I put all the addon scenery outside the sim in a special folder, I just point the sim to it/them.
I've installed 3 MAIW packages so far and they all showed up perfect, I'm taking my time making sure each one is OK before moving on.
I still have my other aircraft backed up on the renamed/saved copy of FS so I will add them later.

Do you still have the following folders inside your main scenery folder:
FS9/Scenery/namc, name and namw?
If they are still there then all you have to do is activate them in the scenery library. Near the bottom of the list above Europe.
North America Central, North America East and North America West.

You would have to activate them in the same way as you activate new scenery that does not have an installer.
Move them down the list until they are just above Europe. This will ensure your custom scenery will display properly.

I've been tweaking and messing with this sim for years and never had that problem, I'm still learning lol.
I'm very grateful to you, while I was adding the scenery to the fresh version I installed, all the time I was thinking of all the work of getting it back the way it was, you have saved me not hours but days of work.
