Current uploads do not seem to like my version of 7zip for unzipping.

That would require a new Merlin model with the high tail and rear ramp....a model I've been wishing for, for a long time.
It would enable us to have Italy's Merlin and HH101 Caesar, Algerian, Canadian, Portuguese, Norwegian, Turkmenistan, Saudi and Nigerian to name a few!

Great paints Mark!

Wait and see! Patience is a virtue

I like what you have done, Mark. Appreciated.
However it has caused me a headache as I am one those freaks that likes to mark aircraft down by sqn and whilst I do not doubt the accuracy of the new schemes the buzz numbers have changed on quite a few.

What I mean is that 820 obviously had buzz numbers in the 10s whilst 824 had them in the 80s, and the 814 and 829 seemingly couldn't be ars*d.
Now we have some in the 60s and one in the 70s and there are 2x 66s and 2x 83s. The 66s being on the same sqn.

Now does anybody have any idea which aircraft are allocated to which sqns, for Marks schemes?

Steve! i can understand 100% about that! i too am like you, i went through many images on Flickr and of a friends! a lot of what i saw where from 2013-2015 and noticed the numbers changed quite frequently! but as i was only replicating John paints and not squadrons etc its probably got a bit muddled up now!

Much thanks

Some Merlin's have been reallocated to other squadrons, the tiger is one of them which is why it's going to lose its stripes soon if it hasn't already. Someone said the RN are using a similar system to the USMC in that the number no longer relates to a specific unit. Not sure if that is true but it's bloody confusing! BTW IIRC the Junglies carry no ID numbers just the serial number.

Thank you John! :)

If the correct numbers can be found i am always happy to fix the textures! but as they change them so often i could find myself doing it every week! lol

Much thanks

Looks great Mark, I wouldn't worry too much I suspect it will be forgotten about when it comes to its real life repaint. Not seen any photos of the real thing in plain markings yet.
