KADEX 2016

For those who don't know I was lucky enough to be able to attend KADEX 2016 held in Astana, Kazakhstan. The Air Force didn't have a lot on display, no MiG's at all, but what they did have was very good indeed. I especially liked the Border Guard Tu-134A & their Su27's are visually stunning. There was some nice civvie stuff out of Astana Airport (where the event was held) as well.

This bit was well worth waiting for, The Kazakh military decided to do a full role demo for the president who was a 100m or so behind us, so we had a cracking spot to watch the Flanker take off just as the sun was setting
