We're nearing the end of our tenth anniversary release spree with another package from talented Brent Newman, this time bringing Cecil Field in Florida to your flight simulator.
I believe that Johns scenery is setup for when Cecil was an active Naval Air Station, so it is likely prior to the units in this package being stationed there.
Instead of having large numbers of parking for tactical jets, this version of Cecil has a large amount of parking for P-8s and P-3s and well as lots of civilian parking.
Although closed in 1999 by BRAC with most of the base facilities quickly demolished Ceil Field promises to rise again as a major freight and passenger hub for the greater Jacksonville Florida area. This scenery attempts to capture the field as it would have appeared in the late 1980's while still home to venerable aircraft like the A-7 Corsair and S-3 Viking.

I hope this is the right place to ask this question, can you tell me if the CBP orions have left Corpus Christi and located to Cecil Field or is this new package made to just put a few more aircraft on the base.

If you read the introduction section in the Doc followed by the Optional Files section it should cover your question.

Thanks guys, for this great package! Its wonderful to see my babies in a package (maybe for the last time) This was my first model, although a lot of the credit goes to others here at MAIW. I would try to name them all but I'm sure I would leave someone out. You know who you are and we are all grateful.
NOW, bring on the P8's!
Jake, your model will keep running in my sim as a few repainters have been able to complete all P-3 operators. I spent my early USN career at NAS Jax with P-3s overhead daily.
