I know... I thought about doing the HUD cover but where do you draw the line on how much crap you add to it? If enough people want it, we can add it. There's 10 different models as of right now, that's 40 individual changes to the models that have to be made for each new part like that if we decide to add it. A cover usually exists in the first four LODs of a model, so 1 part x 4 LODs x 10 different models...... It starts to add up to a lot of work. When we do the Block 52's, that will be another 10 models...
My priority right now is to get the rest of the scenery done by the weekend so we can release these already. Then we should have time to tweak the models. The USAF Block 52's will be up next. Then the international Block 50+ and 52+ versions.
Mike - It looks like the AIM-120's have 'lost' the rear texture assignment (maybe on LODs only?).
Probably worth checking the AGM-88 and both versions of the AIM-9s also.
I made two versions of the weapons textures, one for live weapons, one for training rounds.
The users can swap the weapons textures as they see fit on each model. The only difference is the yellow or blue bands on the missiles and either a rocket motor texture or not.
What you are seeing in that picture are versions that all have the training weapons texture. I just need to sort out which serials will get live weapons textures and which will get training weapons textures for the Misawa release.
They will be correct in the released versions, not to worry.
Single seat highest LOD is all but complete, all the lumps and bumps have been added.
Just converting my Sniper Pod (AAQ-33) to the Block 60 specific AAQ-32.
F-16E Block 60 main detail LOD.
Changes since last -
a) Removed the nose 'spike', doesn't have one.
b) Completed AAQ-32 pod.
c) Few texture tweaks
d) Various misc things.
The modellers will provide some schemes but it will be up to painters to provide the vast majority of schemes for this series of models. These guys are concentrating on the model side of things.
If the Moroccan ones are done then all the serials will be covered as this is what we are all about.
Incidentally the RMAF aircraft are block 52s.
