Good day Gentlemen,
I am wondering about the possibility of converting some Ai models to yet another simulator platform, DCS. In the spirit of adding to the ambiance of our simulators through the collaboration of Freeware developers and especially for the Military flightsim environment, I hope to gain permissions. For those that are unaware, Digital Combat Simulator has created a VERY nice Nevada area map with many airfields. Unfortunately, the civilian airfields have exactly zero representative aircraft operating from them. I am looking to gain permision from the original authors to experiment with the porting of the models in the Andrews AFB package (737, 747, 757, Lear 35,) Also, the AIA DC-9, and 727 from other packages. In addition, I would be very interested in a C-172 and King Air for the various GA airfields that have now been modeled.
If anyone knows how to contact the AI Aardvark guys directly, I would be greatly appreciative, as their contact and Forums links are shut down. I am unsure of who is left on that development team, but someone is paying the electricity bill.
I am a 737 mechanic in real life, and if the answer to my inquiry is no, I have very high hopes that somebody will at least say yes to a 737 model. (Pretty please). As the most popular airliner in the world, McCarran INTL really deserves to have some SW and Alaska Airlines birds coming and going. Not to mention the always Secretive "Janet Airways" flights to Area 51. As it sits right now, we only have static Illusian airliners in American Airlines liveries plopped down everywhere. It looks very odd. Please friends, the MilSim community needs your help!
Sincerely, Preston "Woogey" Martin

The AI Aardvark guys have all retired from the FS modelling scene and as far as I know they've all gone their separate ways. Sorry for the bad news. Some folks may have their personal email addresses.
