Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
I am sure it will be made available when the relevant people are certain that no more changes will occur. Keep your patience...

Yes we are still tweaking the paintkits for the two major versions, Pratt and Whitney powered and General Electric powered.
Zsolt I haven't forgotten about you! I will get it to you when we are finished with it.

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Will there be Aggressor weapon loads? I know the US Navy F-16's don't usually have pylons loaded, except maybe an occational center tank. I csn'5 wait to get Fallon Loaded up with new F-16's!
Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Yes absolutely. The US Navy F-16N's are another unique model. Someone will have to figure out how to paint them so that they all have that faded look to them.
It probably makes sense to release the USAF and USN aggressors in the same release.

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
I thought all the Ns were retired and they were using a mix of As and Bs now
Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
They are. The original Ns were block 30 aircraft with the original AN/APG-66 radar. The current aircraft are block 15OCU aircraft originally ordered by Pakistan.clickclickdoh wrote:I thought all the Ns were retired and they were using a mix of As and Bs now

Yea, my bad. I had forgotten they were flying even older models now..... LOL....
Hey one less special version to do now!
I think we have the paintkit ready to handle even that crazy blizzard cammo scheme and the new one too!

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Those block 15's should be here in New Zealand... we came so close to buying them in 1999
Would have been a nice replacement for our A-4's... even though the A-4's had better radar and more MFD's

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
The improved block 52 models are getting a quick test to make sure there are no big issues with them. Once that is done, we will release them and if you guys are happy with the improvements, we can give the Block 50's the same treatment and do a new version of the Misawa package with the new models in it. Also will do just a model release for those so you don't have to get them through the full package.
We can also start working on air to ground loadouts for all of them as well.

Some of the releases will be with full AI packages like Misawa, some will be like this next one, models and paints and some will just be additional models which is probably how we will release the air to ground loadouts for the USAF versions.

Something Kevin has been working on:

Trying to find out which countries regularly use the drag chutes on landing.

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Seems like Polish like to use them. They even requested M-346 to have chute.

Netherland and Norway use dragchute on their F-16AM
Belgian have the same doral spin than Netherland, but not dragchute inside, it is only ECM Carapace system.

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
I think we will end up releasing both chute and non-chute versions for those countries that may use them. That will let the users have the option of when they see their AI use the drag chute. Can even mix and match that way for more variety.

These countries didn't use systematicly the drag chute. Norway use them on iced runways. A mix of chute and non chute models will be great

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Mike - is that the first or smaller second chute?
Hopnig it's the first or the chute is still way too big!

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
Looking for advice from the group on USAF F-16 loadouts, specifically air to ground loadouts.
The first releases covered the HARM loadouts and most common air to air loadouts. Now I'm focusing on the air to ground loadouts that we are seeing currently in the Middle East on combat missions.
We already have loadouts for the following:
GBU-12
GBU-24
GBU-31
GBU-38
GBU-39
GBU-54
AGM-65 IR/VR
CBU-58
This is for modern loadouts, we'll get around to doing more 'retro' stuff down the road.
I think the munitions above are pretty representative of what's being toted around in combat these days?
Other than the more exotic stuff like JASMs, are there any other bomb type munitions you guys would like to see??
