Could anyone steer me in the right direct for C17 plans for FSX?

If you have plans for FS9, you can use AIFP and re-compile them for FSX. That is by far the simplest method. Unless there is something specific that you mean that I haven't understood.

A couple of years ago when I used to hang around at UKMIL, I made some paints for Brize C-17s plus a simple set of FSX and FS9 flight plans. It is for the MAIW PAI C-17 AI model, they will move between Brize and other RAF stations in the UK:
