I did a search but the only answers I got seemed to be for flyable aircraft, I read there is a program where you can set a random breakdown but it can happen between certain times.
I thought of adding certain lines in the cfg but no use if the program doesn't read and understand them, but if it was possible then I think an external program would be best rather then in the cfg file.
Is it possible to get ai to breakdown?

Not as far as I know. Maybe create some XML code but I can't see how it would work with failures of the aircraft? Apart from making the wings fall off at a given time
And that would only work even if it was possible, on new models as the XML code needs to be included at compile time.
