I think you must use the T1 model. It is in he MAIW German Eurofighter package.
Or perhaps in the MAIW RAF Coningsby paclage.

Re: NBAI Typhoon T3 - Searching For The Models
Does
this mean that only the air file is different or renamed?! because I am seeing here "TQL_RAF_Lossiemouth_Typhoon_T3_1-2-6-SQN_FSX", this "sim=NBAI_Typhoon_T3_AI_ONLY".

OK,
I have done as you suggested "stranger" and its working fine, the aircraft are visible at the parking positions, I think problem solved unless anyone else has something to suggest.
Thanks

Nick's Typhoon is rather old. We really need a new version. Any takers??

I agree with "TheFoufure" new C-130 models in the various forms with the extra bits modeled rather than painted on the texture. KC-130J with working refueling pods would be nice.

Re: NBAI Typhoon T3 - Searching For The Models
I've had a new Typhoon on my list for a while now, following suggestions from people here. I've looked at Nick's model a few months back and decided it was pretty good and didn't pursue it. I appreciate that a new FSX coded model would probably be welcome though.
I have the first LOD of the Hustler done and the FDE is good, thanks to some help from Mike M. Brent has given me an idea for my next project, but a new Typhoon could follow that one.
What is it about the current Typhoon model that could be improved please? I just need to justify the effort against the added benefit before committing.

Re: NBAI Typhoon T3 - Searching For The Models
John the model is fine but a bit basic by today's standards, basic texturing, basic modeling, etc. I started to update it a few years back and realized that it would be easier to make a new one from scratch. It didn't match the 3 views that well as I recall. That's just my opinion based on my attempts to update it.
Nothing wrong with it but it at one point was on my list of ones to update like the F-22 model.

Re: NBAI Typhoon T3 - Searching For The Models
While we are requesting new projects...........We could really use a new FSX Tomcat. Nicks is ok, but the nose/Canopy geometry is a little light, and the Canopy glass has the usual FSX issues. I would paint Tomcats for days! Lol -Woog

The F-14 has no FSX cockpit issue. You are missing a texture in the main sim texture folder.

Re: NBAI Typhoon T3 - Searching For The Models
Thanks Martin, I will look for that texture. Not sure why it isn't with my Retro Topgun Cats. The NBAI F-14's work great in P3d V3 by the way. No issue with the canopy there. Just FSX at certain angles the Canopy is opaque Black. It still would be nice to have a few more poly's in the nose area, and the now standard John Young treatment. (FS9 & FSX models).
Sincerely, Woogey
