Re: Davison AAF
If it helps any, the only other MAIW scenery in the Mega Scenery Mid-Atlantic area installed is Andrews. Its been working since June 2016. After a couple of false starts I hit on removing the KADW airport file from MegaScenery and replacing it with the MAIW_AF2 file from the MAIW Andrews scenery file located thus: ......\objectsDC\scenery\MAIW_AF2_KADW_custom.bgl
All the remaining MAIW files stayed with the Andrews Folder. They are activated in the FS9 add-on scenery file and everything works just fine.
Davidson shows an ADE9 file and the above approach does not work. Unless? is that a clue and I should try to replace the MegaScenery KDAA airport with more than just the main KDAA_ADE9_BN file.?

Re: Davison AAF
Try also moving the file KDAA_ADE9_DN_OBJ.bgl since I think that is the one that includes the excludes in it. Again though, that will only work if those buildings are the default scenery, which I don't think they are.

Re: Davison AAF

Disabled MAIW Davison in FS9 Scenery Library. This what it looks like in MegaScerery MidLantic.
Haven't a clue where "generic" buildings that bleed through MAIW scenery come from.
Will Enable MAIW Davison again and take suggestion to move _DN_OBJ.bgl into MidLantic and see where that takes us.
Is this more fun than flying or what . . .?

Re: Davison AAF
To confirm that the MegaScenery is the cause what you could do is disable it, nothing else, then check the MAIW scenery.

Re: Davison AAF
Reloaded MAIW Davison and placed both MAIW_KDAA files in the DCobjects file inside Mega Scenery. Back to same result with buildings bleeding through that are not the stock buildings (for the most part.)
Mega Scenery MidAtlantic has about ten different components in the Scenery Library that can be disabled one at a time.
Suggestion on a method as to which segment to disable first?
Or, how far down in the FS9 Scenery library should I push Davison file, if that matters.

Re: Davison AAF
Searches for Megascenery and MAIW scenery conflicts on the internet have yielded nothing useful. Perhaps someone here or watching has a connection with MegaScenery developers. I have a sent an email to MegaS tech support but I'm not optimistic. They are focused on FSX and my MidAtlantic is 1.0 from 2005 . . .
Will try section by section disabling tomorrow and post the results.

Before you try randomly disabling things, try using these modified files first.

Re: Davison AAF

Excellent ! Other than a house on a road it looks great.
I'm almost afraid to ask how you got rid of the other buildings or where they came from . . .
Great thanks for your time on this.
In other news, I got a very quick reply from MegaScenery. They
suggested that Davison be listed ABOVE MegaSceney MidAtlantic in the Scenery Library.

Re: Davison AAF

Only weird thing now is from top down a block of stock ground shows through
the MegaScenery surface texture.

Re: Davison AAF
Brought Davison further up the list to be above MegaScenery files with no change. Same square of stock scenery.
I guess I can live with it, but it's a little weird.

Re: Davison AAF
I know this is a little old, but I just noticed that the blackhawks in this package from 12th avn Co A do not have a parking code in the aircraft cfg entries. Does anyone know what it is supposed to be?

I did not give them parking codes because they have and AFD file all to themselves.

Re: Davison AAF
Should probably close this out. Got the square of stock ground to go away by removing LD_2718 land class file
from the original MAIW download file. Since MegaScenery was being used, it created a conflict. Suggestion via PM to OP.
All good. Created a heliport at Bolling AFB location and made flight plans for VIP H60 to drop in there. Great thanks to all.
