F-15 Test Shots

Post by GrayRider »

Here are some shots of two F-15's nothing fancy, all up in the Air.

I'm not used to posting 800X600 screenshots. So I hope 800X600 shots are good to go here at MAIW.

Please let me know if 800X600 is still to big.The shots don't look so good at this size, not when I put them on photobucket in a 1280X960 size.
I resized these in photobucket to 800X600.

Enjoy them anyway

I hope there isn't a restriction on what kinds of planes can be posted here.

Hey Grayrider
Nice shots.... On another point have you got any pics of Davis Monthan AFB. Looking for pics of hangers/building/layout etc?
As it is now? For a future MAIW package

Hello btaylo24

Thanks for looking at the test shots.

I did add a complete Photoreal scenery for Tucson from this site:www.c130sim.com and he has some others in his download section.i don't have an addon scenery for Davis-Monthan,since I am here.I did add Davis-Monthan A.F.B. AI packages,A-10's/C-130's and a lot of F-16's

I am stll looking for the DM base scenery, but it does look pretty good from the air.I do have some test shots of the area after I installed the Photoreal scenery.
Maybe i can find someone out there that have some flying shots of the base. There have been a lot of changes over the past eight years or so.maybe Google earth might have some current shots of the bone yard as it is today.

Since I live here I hope someday MAIW can make a scenery and AI package for the bone yard.

The photoreal scenery is great, and I can even see where I live.I can even see the only drive in movie theater in Tucson.

Thanks for looking at the shots.

GrayRider

An KDMA A10/EC130 package is in the works, we just want to do some nice scenery of the base to go with it....

If you do get any pics of the base and buildings id be interested in seeing them, so that we can get the base looking good...

Wish i lived next door to it!

Cheers

I made a few trips out to Tucson last year for business. Those A-10s were just sick.

Yep The A-10's are kind of sick, there just plain worn out.

We are still un-pickling the old F-4's and flying them out of here.still have about 200 more to go.It takes about two to three months to fly an F-4 back out.
We do have a lot of projects going on at the moment as far as coming and going acft. There is so much going on here in AMARC which is the other side of the base, they ought to turn it into an active A.F.B.

I noticed you all have a new Tweety Bird(T-37's) AI package out.I just thought I would mention just about all of the Tweety Birds are asleep here at the bone yard. They have been pickled and spray lated and put into a deep sleep.

I will try to get a hold of some pictures or layout of how AMARC looks today. There are restrictions as far as taking pictures in the AMARC bone yard.
