Converting KFHU for FSX

Post by jetrange »

I installed the Libby Army Airfield and Algeria Transport Package and found that for DAAK there are trees everywhere and for KFHU, the default buildings still show, blocking the ramp and taxiway of the airbase side. I wonder if there's a way to convert packages like these.

Anyone have any Solutions?

Update: I tried the conversion process with KFHU, however, the ground polygon is raised and the default buildings still show.

Is there anything I skipped or something I can do?

I just took a look at KFHU in FSX. It is going to need a good set of excludes, a flatten poly, a new background poly and a full set of anti-pushback nodes. There's not much of a way to get around the raised earth edges at some points around the airfield due to the changes in terrain height around the airport.

I'm currently working on revising Pendleton so it will be ready for Johns AH-1Zs, but I can probably give KFHU a poke after that.
