I'm no scenery guru which is why I stick to painting But i've loaded Nellis into P3D V3 and have the scenery converted but entire area is flooded with trees. I am using ORBX if that matters. Is there a way to remove them? I've tried removing them as shown in the tutorial but no luck. Any ideas?

I'm at work rat now, but will look at my P3D when I get home. Are you using ORBX NA Land Class ?

Thank you sir! I am indeed using ORBX NA Landclass. Aircraft and converted scenery show up along with 1,000's of unwanted trees that I can't get rid of. I Appreciate it!

Well, I have no trees on Nellis, per se. None on the airfield side. Now on the base itself there are more trees than I would expect. If I head to Vegas past the airfield boundary there are quite many trees. A lot more than I would expect also.
Now to the north out to the race track it's desert, no trees.

Well I reinstalled everything and it seems good now. No more trees poking up through the runway! Not sure what I did. Minor elevation issue around the base but I can live with it.

Yeah, I have the elevation anomaly also. I haven't tried the Vector AEC to fix it.

Ok, yes thread revival but I didn't want to start another thread on P3D conversions. Since this has to be the most popular base for MAIW packages, I wanted to get the latest info as I start to convert it. I just moved over to P3Dv4.2 and started with the updated models. Of course that means the AI are using default scenery for now as I watch a JYAI F-35 disappear after landing.
I had ORBX FTX in FSX and plan to move that over, along with freeware Blueskyscenery photoreal for Vegas, which worked well for me in FSX. Any other issues or "gotchas" besides the elevation?
