RAAF F18 2OCU Tiger Classic Hornet

Special Scheme applied to a McDonnell Douglas F/A-18A "Hornet" of 81 Wing - 2 Operational Conversion Unit (2 OCU) of The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) based at RAAF Amberley, New South Wales with a special decoration to celebrate the unit’s final year of Classic Hornet operations (1985/2019), primarily training pilots before the transition to F-35.



My fisrt repaint in a while and first for the New Year!!

Very nice repaint Mark, I haven't seen this aircraft flying the rounds as yet.
Just thought I'd let you know that RAAF Base Amberley is located at Amberley in Queensland which is about 600km North of this aircrafts homebase at RAAF Williamtown, Newcastle. ☺☺☺
