Hi Everybody,

and thank you again for your replies. I''ve tried what John suggested without glory. So I decided to give up, deleted Lossimouth and installed UKMil Lossiemouth.
Result: no more objects in the wrong place but a lot of black textures (hangars, cars, etc)
Same situation with UKmil Kinloss but UKmil Leeming looks good.
It seems like I don't have a specific librairy for the UKmil sceneries.

It kinda seems like you have gone from one problem to two problems.
Now I can understand if you are happier but I can't believe that it will last for long.

What I don't understand is that you said that by installing the Ukmil Lossie that there were no objects in the wrong place. To me this would seem to indicate that your original problem was caused by having some Ukmil files installed in the first place. You just need to find where.

I would check the names of the Ukmil Lossie bgl files and then do a system search to see if they are in any other folder, like the FSX\Addon Scenery folder. The MS search will do but a util like Everything will be a lot quicker.

Hi Firebird,

it works !
I've checked my Addon scenery/scenery folder and deleted there all the specific files that I've found in UKMil Lossiemouth/scenery, too.
Now every thing is OK with the Typhoon package Lossiemouth.

As always I just have to ask in the MAIW Forum and someone find a solution !

UKMil scenery objects are mostly geolocated, so they will appear in a fixed position in the sim world no matter where the libraries are or what sceneries are activated. Be careful about using them; they are gorgeous creations but they can have unexpected results! The UKMil sceneries are also now quite old, so they don't represent the current configurations of the airfields they portray. Lossiemouth in particular has evolved considerably since the UKMil portrayal - and even since the versions we did for John's Poseidon model a couple of years ago. It's probably time we looked at it again!

Glad you got it sorted out.

Thanks for supplying the picture. Without it, and your follow up post with the second problem, it could have taken a long time to find the cause and fix it permanently.

As it happens updating the scenery I put together for that package (with your Poseidon hangar), is next on my list after I've worked out what is going wrong with Leeming. The northern parking area definitely needs re-doing, but helpfully google maps seems to be pretty up to date with the new layout.
