Sorry to hear you're leaving our hobby and community. I fully understand how much time this takes and there are other more important things in life. I would really like to thank you for your contribution over the years, it has been greatly appreciated. I wish you well for the future.
All the best
Derek

Re: Tim's Trials...
Thanks Derek. I think it's unlikely - for now - that I'll completely divorce myself from the community. After a lifetime in military and civilian aviation, I have a vast amount of knowledge that I hope I can use from time to time to help out, but I have to make more space in my life for other things that are important to me - my family, my home, and other stuff in the real world. I just hope that some of the work I've done over the years can help others to improve the hobby for those of you still in the FSX/P3D world.
Having just read John's post about losing access to GMax, it does feel as though there might be other headwinds affecting this corner of the flight sim community. I hope that enough solutions can be found to keep it going for a while longer.

Hey Tim,
Stick around, even if you're not producing - you have experience, tips and thoughts that can help others out. Also, contact and engagement are good for the soul!
