C-146A Wolfhound question

Post by Joseph29 »

If I want ATC to call the wolfhound by the correct name, what would I need to put in the [General] section of the aircraft cfg file?

[General]
atc_type=DORNIER
atc_model=
editable=0
performance=AI use only

Courtesy of A310 over at aitraffic.ch

USAF Dornier C-146 Wolfhound "WOLFHOUND" - https://www.aitraffic.ch/index.php?acti ... tach=16823
USAF "WOLFHOUND" - https://www.aitraffic.ch/index.php?acti ... tach=16829

Import into EditVoicepack, (one will be in aircraft model as C-146, the other will be in telephony designator as WOLFHOUND; both will call WOLFHOUND)

Use atc_model=C-146

Use atc_type=SILENT if you do not want ATC to call Dornier as well as Wolfhound

I'll just add IRL ATC is going off the flight plan strip for the aircraft type, so in this case "D328". No one to include ATC know what a C-146 Wolfhound is. Similar to the U-28 Drako, ATC will say "traffic is a PC-12 at 12 o'clock".
