Well if you do not have P3Dv5 installed then I think the smart thing to do is to make sure that it is uninstalled, and do any manual clean-up that might be required.

Your original pic shows that AIFP found both v5 and v6, and your cfg definitely has both in it.

Hopefully, you can cleanly get rid of v5 but if not then you you may have to de-install/re-install v6 to untangle stuff. Just don't do it unless you absolutely have to.

The fact that you installed a version yesterday, which says that you have both versions - in the same location - is what is wrong.

What you should get after you clean up, is that when you delete any one of the recent installs of AIFP and copy the files back again is that when it runs you will see only one sim under the Target Versions.

Hopefully, that should solve your problem.

One thing i would do is that IF you do find that you need to uninstall v6 is that you copy the entire file structure to somewhere safe first. At least this way a restore should be a whole lot quicker.

Removed everything associated with P3Dv6 and then re-installed it. Now it tells me it cannot locate P3Dv6 scenery library???

Deleted P3D and everything that went with it, then reinstalled it. So far, so good. Now, is there a way to get shockwave lights to work with P3D?

Unlikely.

Shockwave lighting effects are "incorporated" in P3Dv4 and up. They are controlled in the dynamic lighting section of your settings (in game).

I found out what my problem was, I think. I had a scenery for Seattle, but it was for a lower P3D sim.

That does not stop AIFP - at least I have never seen it do that.

Sometimes, no matter how annoying it can be, clearing something out and starting from scratch can be the best/only way to fix things.

I am pretty sure, the ini lines were the solutiom.

If you install AIFP3 these lines are wrong, now as Don's web site is no longer online.
the links are hard coded.

I found out that there are some sceneries that I cannot use in P3Dv6 that comes from older FS which is too bad because I would love to have them in my Flight Sim.

Quite a lot changed for P3Dv6, but in general I found that sceneries that worked for v5.3+ would be ok in v6. That included older sceneries that I modified myself to be compatible with 5.3+. So ADE 1.79 can be used to update older AFCADs and MCX can update the scenery objects. It's not a guaranteed solution, but it'll often work. Where it doesn't work you'd probably have to go into one of the LM sceneries built for v6 to see what differences there are in the code, but that's advanced stuff (and beyond my expertise).

I wanted to have Osan AB on my sim, but it is one that I cannot use. There are a few others, and I will need to go back and look to see which ones those are.

Osan was converted by MAIW to P3Dv4 format for the Matrix product, but that's no longer available - and it's in a configuration which is now out of date as the airfield now has two runways and some significant differences in apron arrangements. I did do an update of it for my own use some time ago, but I have no idea if it'll work in P3Dv6. If I get a chance I'll fire it up and have a look for you; if so I can let you have the AFCAD (my own creation) and you can apply the scenery objects to it yourself.
