how can i get the engine starts on P3DV4 ai aircraft staggered/extended

hello all, i am looking for a way, to get P3DV4 AI aircraft engine starts staggered/extended.
that means for instance, the start up of john's Canberra's. like starting the battery, then engine 1 then engine 2.
im sorry if that doesn't make sense

I don't think that's ever been possible with AI. Correct me if I'm wrong.

well the thing is john, you are correct. it hasn't been possible.
that why i really want to try and make a plugin for p3dv4 that handles all sorts of AI traffic from civilian 737-300s, to military tornado F3s. and this plugin would allow the staggered/extended engine starts! i know it seems grandiose, but i really want to try with a team!

You want to re-design the AI engine as a plug in? I would weigh up the effort involved against the interest - especially for P3Dv4 only.

Where are you starting from? Do you have an understanding of the AI code and how it works? What skills are you bringing to the team you are looking for?

I have used some rotation code coupled with timer code to spin up AI helicopter rotors in the past, but it it not straight forward.

You started this thread with a reasonable question and, as I feared, it has quickly developed into nothingness - just like the thread you linked to.

As you said in that thread - "the help i need is someone to make the software, and someone to make the addons", ie your involvement is pretty negligible.

Despite the ridiculous nature of the proposed projects, that's undoubtedly why people haven't come on board and why nothing seems to have progressed previously.

Please don't waste our time by starting threads like this.
