Seeking AI models

Post by awj112 »

Does anyone know where I can find Fernando Martinez's Tornado AI models and a Typhoon?

The FM Tornado is part of MAIW's Royal Saudi Tornado package. Plus isn't the FM Tornado aka PAI Tornado?

And I would suggest using Nick Blacks Typhoon. Which of course is part of MAIW's Conningsby pack.

Just my opinion.

KJ,

the PAI Tornado is indeed the FM model.

Thanks. I found out that Sprocky is right, the PAI model is FM's Tornado.

I thought about the Conningsby pack but I have the UKMIL secenery and Just Flight's traffic. I am mostly looking for a replacement model for the JF aircraft.

Hej,

search at the AVSIM site for "ai_tornado.zip", there you'll find, what you're looking for.

As for the Typhoon, I'm always on the look-out for AI models. But Nick's seems to be the only one out there at this time as far as I know.

It should be fairly easy to repaint I would think. Plus you know it's a dedicated AI model, not some dumbed down flyable version.

And I'm sure it would put a smile on Nick's face to see more repaints of his hard work. :-)

One project at a time. Right now, I am still getting my head wraped around traffic editing.

Thanks for the tips. I have the Tornado, I may just settle for Just Flight's Typhoons.

Why on earth would you want to do that? Nick's are truly AI and are far superior!

And watch your FPS tumble. I'm afarid most commercial so called AI stuff does not cut the mustard. Look at the AlphaSim's AI B-52 for a classic example!

Because as Much as I love Nick's stuff, the Typhoons aren't available alone.

Alone? I don't understand what you mean by 'alone'....

If you don't want the MAIW package, simply download it, extract the files you need and dump the rest.

But for the life of me I don't know why someone wouldn't want a MAIW package... :-)
