When will the new terminal be open for business? Which airlines will be using it? I'm a regular pax through Changi (be there agin on 18th November), will be nice to see this

Hi there Jack!

The terminal will open on Jan 9, 2008. Right now, the airlines using the terminal have not been confirmed as far as I know.

Oh, you're coming in on the 18th? There's an Open House for T3 during 12 Nov - 9 Dec. So you can drop by for a visit. It's S$3 for a guided tour or $1 for "Free and Easy".

Hi Phillip,

many thanks for the info. I'll be through Changi a couple of times on my next trip. First on 17th/18th Nov I fly Zürich-Singapore-Hong Kong-Dalian. Then on 21st Nov it's back Dalian-Hong Kong- Singapore. I stay in Singapore till 23rd, then fly off to Bankok. On 27th, it's back again Bangkok-Singapore-Zürich. Only problem is that most of my transits are either fairly short or late at night, but maybe I can get out to the airport early enough on the way to Bangkok to be able to take a tour.
