Playing AC-130 Operator in COD 4

I have been playing Call of Duty 4 last few days. One of the missions lets you be in a AC-130 and provide fire support to a team that is trying to get to a landing zone. Other than operating as a helicopter side gunner on a assault mission, this is the only flying you get to do in this game...

Screen shots show thermal TV image and a few of the weapons being used. Love using the 105MM on a vehicle or building, and the 40MM can be really hard on the op force.....

Had a friend that flew on AC back in the 80s who would leave a card by his drink at a bar. Said...."Mess with my drink and I will destroy your home town." I do believe he could have done it with one of these....

I just finished this game on the XBox 360, and this flying mission was awesome.

The Ghost Recon series has some great helicopter gunner missions, like clearing out hot landing zones.
