We were Crewdogs III

I just received a book from Jim Bradley.(A Fellow B-52 Crewdog). The title is "We were Crewdogs III." It is an anthology of stories about the B-52 Crews. Many were written by people I knew at Glasgow AFB, MT and are about events and anecdotes from Glasgow. There are many other stories about Buffs in General and other units. I don't know if any bookstore would have it, but here is the contact information.

The cover has a SAC commemorative Coin. The contact for the coin is

Not intended as an advertisement, I have no connection to the editor or the Coin sales.

Hi Marv

Thanks for heads up. I'll email Tommy and see if will accept a PayPal payment. Easier for us non-US residents.

Cheers

This is turning into a real fun thing. I found out that Tommy is doing a Volume 4, due out in June. I offered to contribute and have sent in a couple of items. All are due by April. Looks like he has almost enough already to do the new volume. It has also caused me to dig in my files for old information, photos, etc. I am finding a lot of stuff I had completely forgotten. Good Memories.

Just a mini-review of "We were Crew-dogs" volume one and two. Once I started, I could not put them down. Probably more immersing if you have similar experiences, but great even if you are only interested in the Buff.
There are a variety of stories, some very serious (crew losses) and some are completely comical. These anecdotes are the next best thing to being there. Covers the whole range of B-52 experiences, training, deployments, special missions, etc. Don't pass these books up if you are a BUFF fan.

Volume 4 is available now. I have 3 stories in it. He is planning to combine stories from the first four volumes into a Viet Nam Special. There is also enough material for a Volume 5 that will come out spring of 2009.
