No, this is the Aeroworx scenery for Ysterplaat AFB in Cape Town. I have however removed a whole lot of aircraft from this AFB since Ysterplaat mainly has a few Oryx (Super Puma) and DC3 aircraft.
The frame rates are ok after a minute or so since Cape Town is fairly heavy on frame rates with the International Airport, Cape Town Harbor, Robben Island, Ysterplaat AFB, Cape Town City scenery as well as the Cape Town terrain mesh that I have.
Fortunately the SAAF bases never have too much aircraft so this screenshot is a bit of an overkill w.r.t aircraft you can see. The only AFB that will have quite a few a/c is Langebaanweg AFB, 100 odd km north of Ysterplaat since it is the pilot training school. I will post a screenshot or 2 with the Astra and Harvards althought the Harvards are retired. I thought it would give the place a good feel to it with the Harvards.
Cheers

There used to be a fairly decent set of inexpensive commercial AI models of SAAF military aircraft from an outfit named AIFD. They seem to have disappeared, though I think the models can still be found. The package included Impala Mk I and II, C185a, Mirage F-1AZ, Cheetah C and PC-7 MkII. Would be lovely to have some flightplans for those.

The package is still available here (so the models shouldn't be passed around too freelyMisha_K wrote:There used to be a fairly decent set of inexpensive commercial AI models of SAAF military aircraft from an outfit named AIFD.
