Look for Ian Elliot at sim outhouse. He did scenery for Wyton that has an afcad with it. No Parking on it though.
I work at Wyton, so if you have any questions pm me.

There are some great satellite shots at Great Circle Search for making AFCADs.

I think that you will find that 51sqn and their Nimrod R1s were based there before they moved to Waddington.

There is a nice little proggy that will remove scenery objects.
As soon as I remember the name of it, I'll let you know...lol.
I'm sure someone else will chime in with the name.

That proggy name is ExcBuilder, look for it on avsim and there is a useful tutorial that will tell you how to use it and stop the most common error occurring.

Posted on the Avsim main page ....

"Library Issues

Posted: Sunday, February 10, 2008 - 4:30
As most of you are aware, we have received the emails from you, AVSIM is having Library Cookie issues at present time. We are working dilgently with Network Administrators, the Network Operations Center, and internal staff to correct the issue.

On February 23rd, 2008, AVSIM will be upgrading the library server to ensure the largest, most available bandwidth for flight simulation in the world.

Until we can rectify this situation, we ask that enjoy the other sections of our site to include the largest forum, advertising, and news on the web for flight simulation. WE WILL be back shortly, bigger, faster, and better then ever.

Faster will be nice

That statement gives the impression that the library will be down for 2 weeks...??

And I've had to spend a good part of each day viewing, and when required, downloading just to keep up with the desirable content that appears at avsim. Can you imagine how far behind I'll be after two weeks? It's a sure thing that I'll miss out on many things never seen, except by accident. Frankly, I'm glad for the rest and new spare time.
