NH ANG flightplans

Post by CelticWarrior »

Guys (and gals if we have any),

I'm looking for flight plans for the 133rd Air Refueling Squadron, 157th Air Refueling Wing based at Pease ANGB, New Hampshire (KPSM). Having downloaded an AFCAD offering on Avsim yesterday I felt I could do better and created a new one for FSX but when I went there I found it was totally unpopulated by either military or civil aircraft. If any are forthcoming I'll create an AFCAD for FS9 as well (both with drive-through parking).

I'd appreciate any help, Graham King lists paints for the KC-135Rs.

Thanks in advance,

Cary

I was just flying online out of PSM with my VA, I'm interested in a accurate AFCAD for FS9.

I could put some plans together, let me know if you would like to see them "deploy" anywhere in particular.

Thanks for the offers. I "re-found" Mike MacIntyre's nemai package, I had a feeling I had them already, thanks Mike! :D

You're welcome, but that old NEMAI package is getting rather antiquated. :(

I've actually got a NEUMAI New Hampshire package including the 133rd Air Refueling Squadron, 157th Air Refueling Wing based at the Pease ANGB at Pease ITP, NH in process with an upgraded drive through parking AFCAD and repainted AI KC-135R's completed, but I haven't had time to finish the FP's. :(

Mike,

I really enjoyed the original NEMAI package and would be willing to help with the updates. I have many flightplans written for NY ANG units, and can help with the NH ANG.

PM me and let me know if I can be of any assistance!

No :( required Mike, it was those packages which got me into military AI in the first place. I've updated them with Graham's repaints and they'll serve with pride while I test the drive-through parking. The airfield isn't served well by civilian flights, surprisingly there aren't even Cessnas or Beechcraft from any of the other packages populating it. Skybus fly there a few times a week and that's about it.

Screenies to follow.

Check the post about the 90% complete newer pack. I've been flying this the last couple of days, the -135's getting alot of action. The KBGR scenery was a very cool surprise.

Does anyone have serial numbers for the unit?

I've been able to find about seven for the 157th ARW...they are slated to receive "new" A/C under 2005 BRAC, I don't know what the status is though.

I believe under BRAC they are getting the 107ARW of the NYANG's KC-135 aircraft.

As of about a year ago the NH ANG's 157th ARW was flying 8 KC-135R's, but there were rumors that they were either going to lose or gain one more. The last BRAC 2005 update that I saw made no mention of the 157th ARW being affacted at all. However, this report did say that the KC-135R's from the NY ANG's 107th ARW started going to the ME ANG's 101st ARW starting in March 2007 to replace their aging KC-135E's.

The last I read(which admittedly was quite some time ago) the BRAC stated NH ANG was to receive three KC-135 from March ARB. March is currently undergoing the change from air refueling mission to unmanned recce. I'm not sure what that brings its total number up to... I believe either eleven or twelve.

I understood from reading globalsecurity.org that the 157th are to receive extra airframes to bring their number to 12. Mike's plans are for 11, which is about right allowing for maintenance.

"In its 2005 BRAC Recommendations, DoD recommended to realign March Air Reserve Base, CA. The 163d Air Refueling Wing (ANG) would distribute its nine KC-135R aircraft to the 157th Air Refueling Wing (ANG), Pease International Tradeport Air Guard Station, NH (three aircraft) and several other bases. Military judgment also placed additional force structure at Pease to support the Northeast Tanker Task Force and also robust the squadron to a more effective size of 12 aircraft."
