Apparently a bird has caught fire today in Qatar. No word on casualties, possible cause, or nature of the "crash."
EDIT:
"...A military official said details are sketchy, but initial reports are that the bomber crashed while trying to land at al_Udeid Air Base, headquarters for all Air Force air operations in the Middle East. The official spoke Friday on condition of anonymity because the reports are preliminary..."

This is what I have found so far:
"A U.S. B-1 bomber has exploded while landing at al-Udeid military base in Qatar, according to U.S. military sources speaking to western news sources and the al-Jazeera Web site.
The base is headquarters of all American air operations in the Middle East, the military said.
There was no information on casualties."
