Aircraft Container Manager Problems

Has anyone else got massive problems making Aircraft Container Manager work properly?

Most of my AI Aircraft dont show up properly...i.e parts are missing, or in the case of when I look at my own AI Tomcat, the whole model just doesnt show up at all. I also cannot ammend contact points...see the aircraft textures or anything like that. Am I doing something wrong or has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, Nick, I have seen this as well.

The newer the models are, the more likely they do not display in total. I have no clue what is causing this.

Nick, I had this problem, but with me it seemed to coincide with the same parts not showing up in FS as well. They were mostly in the LOD's. In fact, now I use ACM to check my LOD's before I ever load into the sim. I have noticed that some of your models don't show up in ACM so it must be a different issue because they all show up in the sim fine.

When we changed the name of parts that were not showing up, they showed up. Maybe it has something to do with that. Do you use a proprietary naming convention?

That must be what it is then....I just name the parts according to what they are....In most I have "fuselage" and "tail" and the tail doesnt show up. But like I said the F-14 doesnt show up at all. What a stupid system that is huh?

I've noticed that if I have a reference to a part in my MakeMDL.xml, that part won't show up in ACM.
Could this be what's causing it ?

I have plenty of default names in my projects and have never had a missing part, except when it's xml controlled.
