PAI KC-135R

Post by djnocturnal »

I was just curious if anyone knows who i can ask for permission to use and include the pai kc-135R for the upcoming Grand Forks AFB package we are working on.
we have it almost all complete with 29 aircraft, afcad & flightplans, and possibly some voicepacks.
I really want to include the aircraft to keep the aircraft size to what we used at 34 instead of the default 44. otherwise people that download it will have to go into afcad and change the radius of the AC in the editor.

I suggest looking on the PAI files to see who the author is. And failing that post a message on the PAI forums. Im afraid we cant help you from here.

well, i have another question is it possible to change the parking radius via the aircraft.cfg? i don't know what afcad uses to get that info, but i was thinking i could have them copy the new info into the aircraft.cfg.

You can ammend the parking radius from within AFCAD. Use the aircraft editor, find your aircraft and you'll see a parking radius box. Change the value and it will change the value on the particular model. You dont even need to save it.

yeah that is what i did to use 34 instead of 44, my worry is that the people that download it, won't be able to figure it out, i will include instructions on how to do it, hopefully that helps.
thanks for the replies!
