Government VIP flightplans?

Post by Joseph29 »

I have a bunch of repaints of Government VIP planes and I was wondering if anyone has flightplans for them? The planes I have are

Turkish Government A319
Bahrain Air Force RJ 70
Madagascar Government 737-300
Chilean Air Force 737-300 and 737-500
Thailand Air Force 737-400
UAE Government A319
Venezuela Air Force A319

Im not expecting to get flightplans for all of these, but maybe someone has like 2 or 3 of them?

I don't have any "real" or prepared flightplans for those repaints.

However, when I do try to fake some for similar repaints, what I do is this.
1. Look at a map and identify the 5 or 6 largest cities.
2. Get the Air Order of Battle for the country and identify the 5 most important bases.
3. IDentify a few key ally locations that civilian or military leaders might visit on a semi-/regular basis.
4. Decide on the "homebase"/hub from which to do the routing.
5. Decide on whether or not I want the homebase/hub location to look busy (make sure that planes takeoff and land there daily or more often) or less so (use more loops rather than out-n-back routing).
6. Make up 3 or more star, out-n-back, and or loop flightplan routes for these locations - even if using just a single plane (see #5).

I figure that civilians will normally fly to and between the key cities while military leaders will go back and forth between bases - but routing a General to the Capitol city of a country is something that would be obvious also.

Using RipPiPip's flight planner, I can churn out one of these in under 10 minutes once I have the locations' ICAOs identified.

So far, I am pretty satisfied with the few I've done while knowing that in the real world, VIP flightplans can change on a moment's notice and that's not really reproducable in FSx.

Thanks for the tips. :)

I found flightplans for the UAE Government 737-700 and I will take those and just change the cities to more match flights made by the A319.

I got a question about the Bahrain Air Force RJ 70 (it's a BAe 146 not a RJ70). It shows this plane in Europe in photos I seen, would this plane fly direct to Europe or make a stop somewhere?

And where do you find RipPiPip's flight planner?

(PS: I also have a paint for the Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight Avro RJ70)

And there's a support thread about it here in the Misc Forum - it's the sticky at the top.

The UAE Government 737`s & 319`s, are regular visitors into Farnborough (EGLF), as is the Jordanian government (looks like a canadair challenger ?).
