Royal Navy Jetstreams
Besides the great military stuff from MAIW I am currently adding some spice to my A320-B737-dominated AI world. So I took a look at a.net searching for various prop aircrafts when I saw the Royal Navy Jetstreams. I then went over to avsim to see if there was something that has been created for AI already and found this:

Questions:
1. Does anyone have this package installed?
2. Are the herein mentioned regs still flying?
3. Are there some regs missing?
Thanks

I'm not at work this week, when I get back I'll find out. But as far as I'm aware all the ones at Culdrose are still operational, bu I can't remember which of the two versions they retired. We see them quite regualrly at Shawbury, they pop into our crewroom for a brew (I'm on the "RN" Sqn).

From all I have seen they T.2 is active - could not find any official note about the T.3 (although wikipedia states 6x T2 and 4x T3).CelticWarrior wrote:I'm not at work this week, when I get back I'll find out. If you could verify the regs/versions - that would be nice!

From what I've found out today ..
Yeovilton Heron Flight = 3 x T3
ZE438
ZE439
ZE441
Culdrose
750 NAS T2
ZA110
XX478
XX484
XX486
XX487
XX488
The only FW operating out of Yeovs are the 3 Jetstreams, 2 x Hawk on loan from FRADU for NFSF(FW) and the Grobs of the grading Sqn. All based southside.
Hope that helps,
Cary

If anyone is still interested, there are actually 4 x T3s on the books - ZE438-441 with three operating out of Yeovilton at any one time
There are still 9 x T2s at Culdrose used for Basic Observer Training with 750 NAS (XX476, 478, 481, 484, 486, 487, 488, ZA110, 111). These are due to be replaced by King Airs in ~2009.
There is one T2 hulk on the fire grounds at Predannack - XX479
