Hi!
Not long ago, I commented on how the FACH was looking for some A310, bought second hand from Germany.
Unfortunatelly, that deal was abandoned.
But on August 29, a new aircraft landed for first time in Santiago, a Boeing 767-3YO ER painted in the gray scheme of the Air force. The aircraft arrives with some mistery around it, since thow some sources had leaked some information about the new aircraft, no official statement was relaesed.
The aircraft still carries the registration CS-TLQ from Euro Atlantic Airways.

On other news, the airforce also released the information that they have bought 12 Embraer EMB-314 Super Tucano as their advanced and weapons trainer.
This adquisition is belibed to be complemented in the future (thow it's not confirmed) by a jet trainer that would prepare the cadets to fly the F-16s.
