Re: AF1. IMHO the Boeing 787 will be a better choice over the A380. The Pres needs to be able to access a large number of airfields worldwide. The A380 would force him to use only those airfields upgraded to be able to handle the A380. The 787 was designed expressly to be able to use most large airfields around the world without further upgrades. Not a tough decision, again IMHO.
