Project AI installer

Hey all I would like to know if anyone has used this program. also if so what files do I need to back up before using this installer.I need to have this to install the ground crew and C-17 for the the AI USAF Thunderbirds Formation Flight Demonstration Package by mike Macntyre for Maiw Air show any info would be great.

Yep, I have used it. There is nothing that you need to back up, as far as I can remember, but if you are in any doubt just install it to a non-fs9 folder and then manually transfer what you need.

I was a member of the staff at PAI for a couple of years and am happy to say that the installer, provided it hasn't changed, it very easy to use. Nothing to back up and it installs all the files in the correct folders.

I am just worried that it says that it over writes textures and files thanks

Not that I recall. I think the worse thing you have to worry about would be multiple afcads for air bases.

It could overwrite files if the installer is pointed at a folder that has files of the same name. If the existing files are PAI then what you would be installing should be updated versions.

If you're not sure, then point the installer to a temporary folder and move them manually.
