Breaking news.....U.S. military plane forced down!

Just in from FOX news...a U.S. military plane has been forced down in Iran....according to Iranian news agency....developing story....,Iranian air force, forced down USAF F-16....apparently the situation has been resolved.

but sky say "The flying crew and passengers, including five members of the US military and three civilians," so although they also says its a falcon i doubt it was an f-16...

Here is just one of many articles that claim the jet was not of US registration at all.

If this had indeed been an armed aircraft or if it had US military personel aboard there is no way they would have let them go.

This from the BBC News website:

"The Arabic-language Al-Alam TV quoted an unnamed senior military official as saying the plane landed at Mehrabad airport on 30 September.

The official said the aircraft was a Hungarian aid plane which strayed into Iranian airspace.

Initial reports from Fars said it was an American plane and was carrying eight people, including five senior US generals.

It said the plane was intercepted by Iranian fighter jets and forced to land at an unspecified airport.

Iranian media said those on board were freed the following day and the plane was allowed to complete its journey to Afghanistan."
