That will certainly be an interesting project. Especially if you can add that vertical animation the AH-64 uses for takeoffs.
I'm impressed that you made a LOD 1 model with that few polygons considering it's prop plane and quite "curvy".
Hopefully you'll post some pictures soon.
As an aside, I've always thought the Osprey was a heck of a concept.

USMC had one on static at the '08 NAS Oceana show, and yes I thought the same thing when I first saw it lol.I got a first hand look at one this summer.
They are quite smaller than I imagined.
The Sea Knight helo is even worse, I think my mom's SUV is bigger haha

MACC, I don't know what Kevin's plans are for this but he's had this one:

in development for a long time. I think the takeoff/landing issue was the big holdup.
Maybe he'll be able to either help you or finish his.

Macc,
Rather than simply have the ramp down when they are on the ground maybe it would be better to have it down when its in its flight preparation phase, i.e. pre-start. It would seem to be more realistic that way.
The more experienced modellers should be able to help you with how to do that when you get around to that part.

Always model what YOU want to do, don't take requests just do it and whatever u produce will be great for the AI community...
Remember no-one is paying you for it, so do what u want to do and enjoy it...
That's my core principle.. Alot of takers out there, but not many give ANYTHING back to the community....

If everyone would give something, there wouldn't be anything to model
Just joking. Requesting something sucks (I just made an suggestion
), if you look at "the fruit stand" when they released there saab 2000. One of the first posts was a question if they could make an A310... Oh well...
Just have fun at wat you do.

How some helicopters? I'd love a CH-43 and / or a Huey? Maybe a Blackhawk? Or some British choppers? There you did askMACC wrote:Its a fair point.
But i'm not bothered what i model, i don't have ideas either.
So i'm quite happy to take requests etc;
