Psssh, jetBlue all the way!!!!
Lol, they'll bounce back. Don't quote me but I BELIEVE they carry more pax per year than any of the US legacy carriers so I wouldn't get all worrisome yet. They pioneered the LCC product, I don't think they're in serious trouble yet (especially given the current state of all the other US airlines, it's a miracle SWA turned a profit all the way till now lol)

I read, or saw a report on TV recently, that SWA, and only SWA, is currently upgrading all its' a/c GPS capabilities, ahead of the rest of the various fleets, with the expectation that even tho FAA hasn't moved, yet, to change from radar based to GPS based traffic control that they will be able to reap efficiencies during the landing/departure and taxi phases of flights that are very small individually, but that will result in millions in fuel savings in a years time. I don't really know how this will work, but, if they have made any progress in this area, it could not have come at a better time!
