Did you watch the BBC report of the Typhoons at Nellis? I guess that was when our Nick Black was there last year.

Janes report that 6 Typhoons from 3 Sqn are taking the QRA at Keflavik later this year for a six week period.

I was under the impression that the Iceland QRA had been terminated, but apparently F-15Es and FAF Mirage 2000Cs have been covering it already.

I believe its due to the recent re-introduction of Bear activity by the Russians. Where is the 57th when you need them!
