Lack of Flying

I downloaded the the lastest MAIW packages. I often go to KRDU and KLUF to see if these aircraft fly but they always on a sleep mode. I setup the packages according to the Instructions. by the way I use FSX with vista. like I said I see the aircraft on their respective parkings but no flying. Can any one tell me what is wrong? help be appreciated

It's likely that you're at the base "at the wrong time".

Check the flightplans.txt schedule and then show up 5 minutes before something is scheduled to depart. Watch for 5-10 minutes.... Then if nothing occurs, you have an issue.

Airbases are usually fairly "dead" given the number of aircraft that are usually based at one. Like Ford said you're prob there at the "wrong time" as MAIW models bases in a realistic setting (aka fairly quiet)
