Well...................it's more of an unwanted effect of using a smoke effect for the engines of the C-130. Due to the way the smoke effects themselves are generated, they glow during certain if not all nighttime hours to include parts of the dusk and dawn periods. AFAIK, there is no cure for this other than to disable the smoke effect for that aircraft. That can be done while the sim is running and takes effect the next time the aircraft is generated. IOW you could simply turn the smoke effect on and off at will without too much effort.

actually where this shot was taken (Howard) you would see that a lot on a humid morning. cant believe with all the AI C-130s I have I never noticed that before. glitch or not I like it.

That swirl effect you see off the props is pretty cool. You see that a lot on carriers with the E-2 and C-2 aircraft.

Certain smoke exhaust effects are more vivid than the others. IIRC, Captain Sim's C-130's smoke exhaust effect is quite bright at night.

Glad it wasn't just me, I have the same issue after changing all my HTAI C-130's smoke after the idea was in the forums. At night all my -130's trail a long "flame" effect. The smoke is nice in the day!
