I feel that MSFS is going to go away for a while, but it's one of those games that will be, in due time, resurrected. I know that a while back Micosoft had to make a decision: Continue with the FS series or work in MS Train Simulator 2. They chose FS, and FSX was born and TS2 died. However, today they are bringing back TS2 so I feel that for now FS will be on the back burner, especially if TS takes off (pun DEFINETLY intended).
FSX is "too good" for now, in 10 years or so when computers have caught up and surpassed what FSX is capable of, you'll see FS come back with some ridiculous new features. Patience my friends.
