The start of Stage 3 featured the Frecci Tricolori sending off the peloton.

Alessandro Petacchi leads after 3 stages with Armstrong in 5th. American Christian Van de Velde crashed and is out.

I think I may attend the final chrono run in Rome... but there is a big trade-off: in the same day there will be an airshow too!
